Before Anchor MPL, I spent years flipping, selling, and renting properties with a few partners. My job was quality control. I'd walk into a finished house with a roll of blue tape and mark every mistake, from the repairs all the way to closing. I also did the final walkthrough: Was the home clean enough to go on the market, and was it staged the right way for that house?

Do that long enough, and you develop an eye. You learn what a home should include and how clean it should really be, including the things your eyes can't see but your senses know when something was done improperly. And you learn how one little spot can lose a deal.

From Real Estate to Cleaning Homes

What I kept noticing was how cleaning was sold: by the hour. When you're paid by the clock, you rush. You close the door and leave, finished or not, and corners get cut to make up for the time. I decided to build the opposite. Anchor MPL is in the business of cleaning homes, not selling time.

I learned that on a real job. We cleaned a three-bedroom, three-bath home on an hourly rate for a woman who had never had a cleaning before. My crew did their best, but the hard-water stains on her shower glass wouldn't come off. She called, unhappy and ready to leave a bad review. I asked her to hold on. I researched the fix, bought the right product, and spent another two and a half hours scraping that glass, at my own cost. She was so happy she tipped my crew. She's been a client for about a year and a half now.

Orlando is where Anchor MPL began, and I love it: the spirit, the families, and the Airbnb hosts working hard to give guests a great stay. Palm Beach is home. I've lived here for more than 25 years, and it's where my real estate journey started. Serving this community means a lot to me.
